Wakami is born almost 10 years ago with a dream: to be a bridge to prosperity, purpose, and hope to vulnerable communities in Latin america.

Wakami is a global brand of ethical fashion, with a presence in 20 countries, who create products with the purpose of promoting the economic empowerment of women: each piece is hand-made by rural women in Latin america, thanks to Wakami today have formal business helping them to fulfill their dreams: from lead his own company and hire more women, to improve their conditions of health, housing and send his children to school.

During 2018, Wakami Peru will create a pilot community of women weavers of peri-urban areas of Lima, who will create the first collection of winter for Wakami Global, with the purpose of marketing its products, to replicate the model of impact on communities and expose your talent to the world.
