School of Business For the Conservation and Advancement of Latin america (2019 – Present)

International training program in business management. Started in August 2019 and has been created with the purpose of generating opportunities for entrepreneurs of various vulnerable populations (mostly women). Scale offers entrepreneurs:
-Capacity building: Provide learning and skills to the management of their business through workshops, working groups, master classes and consulting custom
-Market access: we Promote the opening of new points or sales channels and the generation of partnerships between entrepreneurs.
-Recognition of the commitment and performance: The students receive rewards such as, participation in media, seed capital, contests, among others.

Mapping of initiatives on Financial Education – Superintendent of Banking and Insurance of Peru (2016 – 2017)

Consultancy in conjunction with GRADE by request of the Superintendency of Banking and Insurance of Peru, with funding from the Swiss development Cooperation. Consisted in the identification of financial literacy initiatives implemented by public and private institutions at the national level, in order to analyze good practices, innovative methodologies and outcomes to contribute to the design of the National Strategy for Financial Inclusion (ENIF).

Program “Women Entrepreneurs” of Junior Achievement Peru to Master Card (2015 – 2016)

Execution, on behalf of Junior Achievement Peru, a program of 15 hours of training, of women with business ideas, entrepreneurs and micro-entrepreneurs from the base of the pyramid, aims to boost your self-confidence and provide the basic concepts of business management, in addition to providing a theory about funding and tools to achieve it.

FINPYME: Woman Entrepreneur (2014 – 2016)

Initiative WEAmericas created with the support of the Government of the united States through the bottom Finpyme Woman Entrepreneur (Corporation inter-American Investment, IDB Group). As part of this pilot program is carried out free of charge 100 diagnostics business women of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMES) in Peru and El Salvador, with the purpose of increasing their competitiveness. 

FINPYME Woman Entrepreneur was an innovative program designed to improve the performance of SMES led by women and to promote the sharing of knowledge to achieve your success. The initiative consisted of two phases: The first was a diagnostic business for each of the SMES selected, where they received a detailed analysis of their level of competitiveness as a plan of action to achieve your goals. The second phase provided technical assistance to help these companies to implement the recommendations made by the consultants in the first phase.  

Women Entrepreneurs Leading Development (2013 – 2015)

«Mujeres Empresarias Liderando el Desarrollo» (MELD) provided free training to more than 1,000 women owners of small businesses in Peru through workshops, one-on-one advisory sessions, and working groups, with the aim of identifying the most effective interventions for business growth and women’s leadership. MELD was a program implemented by the Grupo de Análisis para el Desarrollo (GRADE) and Sector 3 Social Venture Group, contributing to the growth and competitiveness of small enterprises in Peru by strengthening the capacities of women entrepreneurs.

Creates and engages in (2014)

The “Crea y Emprende” program is an initiative of the Ministry of Production that, with the objective of promoting and enhancing the sustainable growth of businesses, implements a strategy for business creation and strengthening, using the development and execution of a Business Plan as its main tool.

The goal of this program is to foster the entrepreneurial culture and promote the development of entrepreneurial skills through training workshops and consulting for the development of Business Plans. The development of a Business Plan involves an explicit recognition of market opportunities. The program will generate 2,500 business plans for entrepreneurs and business people, and take actions to achieve the funding of 500 of these plans.

WEConnect International – Peru

Leading organization that identifies, forms, registers, and certifies women-owned businesses -at least 51%-, directed and controlled by one or more women, connecting them with buyers/members multinational corporations, and help them to get success in global value chains.

UBUNTU 4 IMPACT – ACELERADORA DE NEGOCIOS DE IMPACTO EN EL EEM

It offers business development services aimed at scaling and replicating innovative and dynamic business models with strong potential for growth and a positive impact on women’s economic empowerment. Sector 3 SVG held the institutional representation of Ubuntu4Impact. 

 

Ethnographic study PRO-WOMEN – México

Ethnographic study conducted on women of the base of the pyramid of four peri-urban areas of Mexico, with the objective of measuring the propensity to use digital media to perform financial operations.

WAKAMI

In the area of investments in social enterprises, Sector 3 SVG worked with WAKAMI, a Latin American social impact brand that offers fashion accessories handmade 100% by women artisans from rural communities, helping transform cycles of poverty into cycles of prosperity by promoting the creation of rural businesses and empowering women entrepreneurs.

The income generated by Wakami help transform and improve the living conditions of hundreds of low-income families, as Wakami invests in improving the nutrition, early childhood education and the homes of the communities where it works.

Ederland

In the area of investments in social enterprises, Sector 3 SVG worked with Ederland, a social enterprise that markets organic and eco-friendly products produced by small-scale farmers in the Andean highlands and the Amazon regions of Peru and Bolivia. It aims to strengthen small agricultural enterprises to facilitate their access to competitive specialty markets. It currently has a presence in Spain.

Design of a control panel of social impact measurement and impact on poverty through the methodology PPI for Bank Framers – Mexico

Consulting for a mexican bank of the ACP Group, which consisted in the design of a control panel of social impact through the diagnosis, prioritization and measurement of indicators, in addition to the measurement of poverty rates through the methodology Progress Out Of Poverty Index with measurements at baseline, end of the first cycle of credit and term of the second cycle of credit.

Mid-term evaluation in situ of the Project “Development of a model of entrepreneurship female“ for CONAMYPE – El Salvador

Information was collected through key actors, entrepreneurs, beneficiaries of the project and managers of microfinance to evaluate the methodology of training capabilities proposed by CONAMYPE (El Salvador), and its alignment with the objectives of the financial sector.
